In ancient Greek sculpture, women
were depicted imperfectly. The depiction of a so-called imperfect female body was a common phenomenon at the time. Nowadays, idealised images of how a woman's body should be are depicted in pornographic books. I wanted to incorporate these two contradictory images into my art by taking the image out of its context. This cut-up print is
therefore an ode to "Her Body".
