This collection of rugs is designed by using the conventional forms of the human body, then redefine them and make them tangible. By using the technique of combining collages and distorting colors into negative, new unpredictable shapes and color combinations symbolizing the body are created. This perspective emphasizes the importance of returning to the body amid the hustle and bustle of modern life, in which people are often trapped in their own thoughts and heads. The resemblence as a soft and comfortable material for tactile experience. Color is distorted into a negative for visual impact. With “embodied,” I invite exploration of both texture and visual elements. This refreshing approach seeks a balance between mental and physical aspects of our existence.
